What is BOTOX®?
BOTOX® injections are derived from the botulinum toxin, a substance that has the ability to temporarily paralyze or reduce muscle activity. The injections are primarily delivered to reduce the appearance of facial wrinkles, fine lines, and creases in the face. It can also be used as a treatment for neck spasms and chronic migraine, as well as excessive sweating or hyperhidrosis.
What does BOTOX® treat?
Botulinum toxin injections work by blocking certain chemical signals from the nerves that cause the muscles to contract. Because of this, the treatment is able to temporarily relax the underlying facial muscles that cause wrinkles and creases.

What should I expect during my BOTOX® appointment?
Your skin will be cleaned and iced. Before photos may be taken. Your provider will deliver tiny amounts of BOTOX® directly into the skin or facial muscle using a thin needle. The number of injections administered will depend upon the extent of the area you wish to be treated and the extent of your muscle activity.
What results can I expect from the BOTOX® procedure?
Patients are usually advised to return to their normal activities immediately aside from working out aggressively the day of the treatment. We recommend not lying down for 3-4 hours and you’re advised to take extra caution not to rub the treated areas since this can unintentionally displace the toxin to other areas of the face.
The results gradually become noticeable a few days after the treatment. BOTOX® effects usually last 3 to 6 months. Follow-up injections may be needed in order to maintain results.

What is Juvéderm®?
Juvéderm® is an injectable hyaluronic acid dermal fillers used to providw correction for moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds (lines from the nose to the corners of the mouth). Another purpose of Juvéderm® is to plump thin lips during lip augmentation (off label use).
What can Juvéderm® treat?
This type of dermal filler is administered to smooth unwanted facial lines and folds and restore the natural contours of the cheeks, giving the individual a more refreshed and youthful appearance. This filler can soften smile lines, provide volume to the cheeks, enhance the size and improve the shape of the lips as well as contour the jaw line. It is the ideal option for the treatment of static lines, or the lines that are visible when the face is still.
What can I expect during my Juvéderm® session?
The procedure usually takes 15 minutes to one hour, depending on the areas you wish to get treated. We focuses on patient safety and does the procedure safely and effectively. The treatment is delivered by injecting a fine needle into the skin. While the smooth gel directly flows into the affected skin, immediate improvement in the integrity of the area may already be noticed.
